Gumenyuk called the attack on the oil depot in the Crimea preparations for a counteroffensive
The attack on the oil depot in Sevastopol by drones is one of the elements of preparation for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said Natalya Gumenyuk, head of the press center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, RBC reports.
Gumenyuk said that what happened in Crimea is an operation to undermine the logistics of Russian troops. And this, according to her, will allow the Ukrainian army to soon move on to full-scale counter-offensive operations at the front.
“The enemy feels that his resources have been undermined and begins to maneuver,” said the representative of the defense forces.
In Sevastopol on April 29, a fuel tank caught fire. This was the result of an attack by drones on an oil depot in the Kazachya Bay microdistrict, one of which flew to the target, the second was shot down.
