The Ukrainian General Staff explained the lack of mention of Bakhmut in their reports over the past two days.
The official representative of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Serhiy Cherevaty commented on this situation. According to him, the fighting in Bakhmut has been reduced to a minimum, and only one clash has been recorded in the past 24 hours.
Cherevaty stressed that at the moment the Ukrainian military is not making new advances along the flanks. He explained that this is due to the conduct of “other combat work”, which will contribute to a more successful advancement of forces in the future. In addition, Cherevaty noted that the Russian side is conducting rotational processes.
