Former adviser to Kuchma Soskin: Zelensky’s behavior could destroy Ukraine’s relations with the West

Ukraine’s relations with the West and its support are jeopardized by the behavior of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, Oleg Soskin, former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, said.

He called in his YouTube blog “a huge diplomatic scandal” what “Zelensky did” the day before.

The President of Ukraine on Friday, without explanation, fired Ambassador to the UK Vadim Prystaiko, who had previously criticized Zelensky’s words about his readiness to thank British Defense Minister Ben Wallace every morning for military assistance. These words, as many believe, sounded boorish.

According to Soskin, such actions of the Ukrainian leader cause anxiety and doubts about his ability to lead the country.

Both Prystaiko and Wallace, according to the former adviser, have done a lot for Ukraine, and such a hysteria of the president will jeopardize the country’s relations with its allies, and soon completely deprive it of any support.

Soskin also suggested that Zelensky is on the verge of a mental breakdown.

“Further it is known that it could be a collapse,” Soskin said. “He (collapse, – “MK”) is getting closer and closer.”
