The authorities of the Kursk region in the near future plan to transfer the new indoor athletics arena on Vespremskaya Street to the balance of the sports school of the Olympic reserve named after N.Ya. Yakovlev. Governor Roman Starovoit announced this on his telegram channel.
Today, July 6, the head of the region visited the facility, in respect of which an inspection was recently initiated due to the lack of proper control over commissioning. According to Starovoit, most of the comments have already been eliminated. To date, it remains to replace the fire exit door and eliminate the flooding of one room in the basement.
After the transfer of the arena to the sports school, athletes will be able to train in it. Then the complex will be included in the All-Russian register of sports facilities, which will allow official competitions to be held there.
