In the coming year, 60 sports facilities will be completed and overhauled in Kuban. Martial arts centers, swimming pools, sports complexes, stadiums and multifunctional sports grounds will be put in order. Vice-Governor of Kuban Alexander Vlasov shared information about this.
The deputy head of the region noted that thanks to the construction of new modern sports facilities, the number of residents of the region who systematically engage in physical education and sports is increasing. The target figure by the end of 2023 reached over 63%. According to him, plans for 2024 also include improving the material and technical equipment of 29 sports organizations that prepare sports reserves.
In the coming year, in different Kuban municipalities they intend to build 18 martial arts centers, 12 low-budget complexes, 10 multifunctional grounds, 3 swimming pools and 3 special bases, as well as build a modular gym. In another 13 facilities, specialists will carry out comprehensive overhauls. In addition, in 2024, the Sambo Palace will begin to function in the regional center, and a sports complex with a swimming pool will open in the village of Pavlovskaya.
