In Khakassia, the final of the bandy championship on felt boots took place

The championship ended in Khakassia, for the creation of which the Presidential Grants Fund allocated half a million rubles.

Last New Year’s weekend in the park of culture and recreation of Abakan, the final of the bandy championship on felt boots “You are in the game” took place, – informs press service of the Ministry of Sports of Khakassia. The strongest teams from different municipalities of the republic took part in it.

It is known that the winner in the junior group (age hockey players 8-12 years old) was a team from the Shirinsky district. In the senior group (13-18 years old), amateur athletes from the Ust-Abakan region turned out to be the best.

Note that the qualifying rounds were held in Khakassia in December. In total, the championship covered about 500 local children. According to the organizers, many of the participants did not know before that bandy can be played in any comfortable shoes and even felt boots.

We add that the concept of the championship “You’re in the game” was proposed for the competition of presidential grants by the Sports Club “Sayan”. 500 thousand rubles were allocated from the federal budget for the competition.
