The 35th garrison military court in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky found the serviceman guilty of failure to comply with an order (part 2.1 of article 332 of the Criminal Code). The man was sentenced to two and a half years in a colony-settlement. The verdict did not enter into force.
IN message the press service of August 3, instead of the name and surname of the serviceman, “Sh.” is indicated. It is alleged that in May the man, being at the location of one of the military units in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, refused to participate in hostilities in Ukraine. The report emphasizes that at the same time he “was aware of the mobilization announced in the Russian Federation.”
On August 1, the serviceman was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 2 years and 6 months to be served in a colony-settlement. The verdict has not entered into force and can be appealed to the Pacific Fleet Military Court.
