Last year, 18 skating rinks operated in Ivanovo. This year there will be more of them: another skating rink will appear on Krasnye Zori Street, 45, reports the information portal IvanovoNews.
According to tradition, skating rinks will operate on the territory of two city parks: in the park named after Stepanov and in the park on Komsomolskaya. Sports fields on school grounds will also have their own skating rinks. But there are no plans to fill the skating rink at the Tekstilshchik stadium this year.
Construction of ice rinks in Ivanovo has not yet begun. Usually, all preparation begins in December, when a snow cushion forms and a stable sub-zero temperature sets in. For now, Vostok Stadium is busy looking for a contractor to fill the skating rinks.
