In northern Iraq, the pro-Iranian group “Liva Ahrar al-Iraq” (banned in the Russian Federation) again fired at a Turkish military unit. The militants fired four 122-mm rockets in the direction of the unit. Two of them fell on the territory of the unit. No personnel casualties were reported. This is the first shelling by militants of the group since the inauguration of the new Prime Minister of Iraq. Under the previous head of government, such incidents occurred quite often. However, as expected, pro-Iranian groups not only fired on the Turkish Armed Forces in the country, but also attempted on the Prime Minister himself.
