First Vice-President of the Russian Hockey Federation, head coach of St. Petersburg SKA Roman Rotenberg said that a hockey school will soon open in India as part of a joint Russia-India initiative.
Last July it was reported that the FHR intends to develop cooperation with the BRICS countries. The Russian organization declared its readiness to share methods and resources for the development of hockey in the BRICS countries.
“A hockey school will open in India in June,” Rotenberg announced in his Telegram channel. In addition, the possibility of launching hockey schools in other BRICS countries is being considered.
