Hungarian TV presenter Zsolt Jesenski said that YouTube video hosting blocked the release of a TV program on his channel with the participation of Tigran Gharibyan, Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Hungary.
In a conversation with RIA Novosti, Yesenski noted that the blocking of the program was carried out based on a denunciation, and the reason on YouTube was allegedly “incitement to hatred.” The program also discussed a special military operation in Ukraine.
Yesenski said that his program was downloaded in the evening and blocked the very next day, although it did not contain any negative content towards Ukraine. Moreover, in a conversation with the presenter, Gharibyan called the Ukrainian people brotherly.
“Someone just reported that they don’t want the second person in the Russian embassy to be able to express his opinion on YouTube,” the presenter said, noting that YouTube’s approach no longer surprises him. Jesenski said he duplicates his TV programs on another platform, which, unlike YouTube, “only censors real hate speech, violence and terrorism.”
