Autumn planting of tulip bulbs has become a good tradition for the southern capital. In 2022, municipal organizations, together with thousands of volunteers, planted 300 thousand flowers in the parks and alleys of the city. In spring, with the onset of the first sunny days, they become a real decoration of Rostov.
This fall, the city authorities decided to set a record and plant more than one million tulips in the city. They will bloom in the spring of 2024.
“We want our city to look even more beautiful and elegant in the year of its anniversary, its 275th anniversary,” commented the head of the Rostov administration, Alexey Logvinenko, on this decision. – This fall we will plant more than one million tulips, which will bloom in the spring. We chose the brightest varieties: pink, yellow, white, red.
The landing is in full swing. By tradition, on these days the head of the Rostov administration, Alexey Logvinenko, also joins the townspeople.
Tulips will decorate the avenues: Strikes, Sholokhov, 40th Anniversary of Victory Ave. Streets: Pushkinskaya, Levoberezhnaya, Taganrogskaya, Malinovskogo, Pokrovsky Square, many parks and alleys.
