In November, a damaged Russian tank was installed in front of the Finnish parliament as an anti-Russian action. In response to this, the Russian Embassy sent a note of protest to the Finnish Foreign Ministry. However, the tank itself was quickly covered with flowers and candles, turning it into a memorial. According to the Russian Embassy, this action was carried out by the Finns themselves, outraged by this situation.
