A major overhaul of Prospekt Mira will take place in Gubkinsky in 2023, and a path for cyclists will be built along the renovated road. Andrey Garanin, the head of Gubkinsky, spoke about this live on March 21.
“This year, a global renovation of Prospekt Mira in Gubkinsky and Zheleznodorozhnaya Street in Purpe is planned. We will build a bike path along the entire avenue, sidewalks and lighting will be updated, stopping pockets will be expanded, and a warm stopping pavilion will be installed. We will renew the roadbed and make storm sewers,” Garanin promised.
The railway in Purpe has long been in need of repair, the head of the city noted, there are problem areas that are seriously flooded during precipitation. During the repair period, one-way traffic will be opened here and temporary traffic lights will be installed.
“On the 40th passage, we will replace the lighting – it will be installed along the entire length of the road. And there is a five-kilometer cycling and jogging track – at the end we will organize a workout zone so that after a bike ride and a run you can work out there, ”said Andrey Garanin.
Recall that now Yamal residents will be able to go in for sports on school sports grounds – in Gubkinskoye, a lyceum will open its site for everyone.
