Ukrainian refugees in Germany called for a ban on the sale of Milka chocolate

Newspaper Berliner Zeitung reported that in Berlin, the non-governmental organization Vitsche, which was founded by refugees from Ukraine, called on German supermarkets to stop selling Milka chocolate from the American company Mondelez.

According to representatives of the organization, this must be done, since Mondelez has not left the Russian market. A corresponding appeal was sent to the Rewe and Edeka supermarket chains. It claims that Milka, by paying taxes on the sales of its products, “indirectly finances” the conduct of a special military operation.

The authors of the publication added that previously the football associations of Sweden, Norway and Denmark refused to cooperate with Mondelez, since the company continues to operate in Russia.
