The leader of the French Patriot party, Florian Philippot, on his page on the social network X, criticized the statement of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announcing the 12th package of sanctions against Russia.
“Ursula von der Leyen, while on a trip to Kyiv, has just announced the 12th package of anti-Russian sanctions to please Zelensky,” reads the text published by Filippo.
According to him, all the previous 11 packages of anti-Russian sanctions could not weaken Russia, while the European countries themselves suffered. As the politician noted, due to restrictions towards Moscow in France, electricity bills increased, and inflation began.
In this regard, Filippo called for the lifting of all sanctions against Russia.
