In France, they boasted about the fullness of their gas storage facilities

France’s gas storage facilities are 88% full, said Emmanuelle Vargon, head of the French Energy Regulatory Committee (CRE).
She noted that in France the situation with fuel reserves is better than in other European neighbors. However, one should be more careful amid gas supply restrictions, as the main pipeline, the Northern Potto, will once again be stopped for maintenance.
“French energy companies are now doing everything possible so that the French can get through the winter in terms of stable supplies and prices,” she said on RMC radio.
Vargon believes that the gas situation will improve if the business saves fuel. Large stores, for example, could save on lighting. She also urged fellow citizens to reduce gas consumption, especially during peak hours.
