In Dolinsk opened a “smart” sports ground with a tribune for 100 seats

The opening of the “smart” sports ground took place in Dolinsk. Local residents will be able to play basketball, volleyball, football, hockey there. The facility also has a grandstand for 100 seats, the press service of the government of the Sakhalin Region reported.

In addition, the sports ground is equipped with workout equipment: benches with stops, bars, horizontal bars. There is also a table tennis table, outdoor exercise equipment and treadmills. In the near future, the “smart” object will be connected to the wireless Internet.

A toilet module and locker rooms will be installed on the territory of the sports facility. In 2023, asphalt will appear on the driveway and the surrounding area.

The Minister of Sports of the Sakhalin Region Artem Podshivalov recalled that Governor Valery Limarenko set the task of making sports and physical education more accessible to residents of all regions of the island region. “Thanks to the “smart” playground, residents of the valley will be able to play sports and athletics at any time. I am sure that the new facility will become a place of attraction for lovers of an active lifestyle of all ages,” he added.

In winter, an ice rink will appear on the site. Skate rentals are available for residents. The contract for their supply has already been concluded.

According to Alexander Tugarev, Mayor of the Dolinsky District, a lot of sports facilities are being built in the municipality so that the residents of the Dolinsky go in for sports. The new site is within walking distance. “With the advent of a new open sports complex, sports will become even more accessible to our residents,” he concluded.

In addition, a “smart” site was equipped on the island as part of the federal projects “Sport is the norm of life” and “Business sprint (I choose sports)”. Funds from the federal, regional and local budgets were allocated for the construction of the facility.

In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the construction of a boxing center and an athletics arena was resumed. In addition, work is underway to reconstruct the school of martial arts in the regional center and the stadium in Okha. Sports facilities are being built in Chekhov and Gornozavodsk. The construction of a sports and recreation complex with a swimming pool in Aniva is nearing completion, and a sports and recreation center in Kholmsk has already been commissioned.

Formerly MK on Sakhalin reported that by the end of 2023 the first sports complex will be commissioned in the village of Ilyinsky. More than 200 million rubles were allocated for the construction of the facility. FOC will be designed for 144 visits per day.
