In Dagestan, Russian passports were issued to 62 Palestinian citizens – Kommersant

The press service of the head of Dagestan reported that the republic issued Russian passports to 62 Palestinian refugees. In total, 156 displaced people, including 81 children, live on the territory of one of the region’s recreation centers.

“For arriving citizens, individual personal account insurance numbers (SNILS) and individual taxpayer numbers (TIN) have been issued, the issuance of which is planned in the first working days of January,” the press service reported in Telegram channel.

They added that in the future the Dagestan authorities will consider the possibility of issuing a monthly benefit in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child. Headquarters for collecting humanitarian aid were opened in Makhachkala and Novolaksky district.

The head of the Ministry of Labor of Dagestan, Murad Kaziev, said at the meeting that the issue of employment is being personally worked out with each Palestinian refugee. According to him, 33 people are ready to work in Dagestan, mainly in the medical field.

The first group of refugees from the Gaza Strip arrived to Dagestan on November 25. December 23 regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reportedthat 45 displaced persons received Russian passports.
