Vice Speaker of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Bobkov commented on the statement of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that the Ukrainian army will launch a new counter-offensive in the Black Sea and is preparing “surprises” for Russia.

“Each time Zelensky’s statements sound more and more inadequate,” Bobkov said, also characterizing the words of the Ukrainian leader as “delusional” and “distant from reality.”

Bobkov recalled that Zelensky last year already sent his troops into a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye region and received thousands of dead. The Vice Speaker of the Crimean Parliament added that now Zelensky wants to cover the bottom of the Black Sea with the bodies of his military not the steppes.

He also expressed the opinion that Zelensky’s statement is only an attempt to get from the West “a few more missiles, old planes and tanks, which are already running out.”

“Any attempts at a counteroffensive are, unfortunately, just more human lives of Ukrainian soldiers,” Bobkov concluded.
