The security forces detained the first organizer of the cell at the end of September 2022. Both are accused of financing an extremist organization.
According to the Crimean Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detainees held propaganda meetings, discussed the texts and religious provisions of the sect’s creed, and coordinated the actions of adherents. At the same time, their exclusivity and superiority over other traditional religions were proclaimed.
During searches in the houses of the detainees, documents were found confirming their illegal actions, and literature with signs of extremist content.
