In Chelyabinsk, the regional branch of the All-Russian physical culture and sports society “Labor reserves” has started working again

On August 1, in Chelyabinsk, the regional branch of the All-Russian physical culture and sports society “Labor reserves”, created on the basis of the Chelyabinsk radio plant “Polyot”, resumed its work. Ekaterina Smetanina became the new chairman of the Chelyabinsk regional branch of the All-Russian Federal Social Security Service “Labor reserves”.
“The development of corporate sports is very important for the development and motivation of employees of enterprises. “Labour reserves” is a real tool for enterprises in terms of implementing a corporate culture and attracting the attention of staff to a healthy lifestyle and sports,” Ekaterina Smetanina comments on the reconstruction of the Department.
After the resumption of work, on August 8, a meeting was held between representatives of the Chelyabinsk regional branch and the Minister for Physical Culture and Sports of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexander Grib. During the meeting, a presentation of the work plan of the regional branch and a discussion of the prospects for cooperation in 2023-2024 took place. At the moment, it is planned to actively participate in all sports events in the region, as well as launch the Corporate Basketball League.
Recall that the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Labor Reserves” appeared in 2018 on behalf of the President of Russia. Developing corporate sports, Trudovye Rezervy focuses on interaction with the regions; at the moment, regional branches have already been opened in 54 constituent entities of Russia, and more than a million people are involved in the activities of the company.
In addition, the activities of the Labor Reserves contribute to the implementation of the task of Russian President Vladimir Putin to involve citizens in systematic sports. As noted in the Federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the National project “Demography”, by 2030 at least 70% of Russians should regularly engage in physical activity.
