During the dismantling of the airport building in the city of Cheboksary, a glass bottle was found with a letter placed in it, apparently written about sixty years ago. This site reports KP.RU.
According to the press service of the airport, moisture got into the bottle, so the paper was badly damaged. But the content of the letter was partially disassembled. It begins with a traditional Soviet address: “Comrades, hello to you …”.
Further, the author of the letter calls to remember the “fathers and brothers” who built the airport. He argues that under Stalin “it was more or less”, but “Khrushchev almost all of Russia was not …”. Under Brezhnev, according to the author of the letter, people “sighed a little.”
The letter also expresses dissatisfaction with the level of wages: a worker receives an average of 85 rubles, an engineer – 120-140 rubles. “True, our life is cheap,” writes the author of the letter.
