In Belgorod and a number of other cities and districts of the Belgorod region, which suffered as a result of shelling from Ukraine, it was decided to extend the school holidays until January 19. How told Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov, the regional authorities made this decision at an extraordinary meeting of the operational headquarters.
According to the decision of the Belgorod operational headquarters, the January holidays have been extended in the following municipalities: Belgorod; Belgorod, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Borisovsky, Volokonovsky districts; Grayvoronsky, Shebekinsky, Valuysky, Yakovlevsky urban districts; two settlements in the Korochansky district – Melikhovo and Dalnyaya Igumenka.
Kindergartens in these municipalities will operate in groups on duty. Places in them are primarily planned to be provided to children of parents working in continuous cycle enterprises. Classes in additional education institutions until January 19 will be conducted only remotely.
Mr. Gladkov did not rule out the possibility of further extending the holidays. According to him, the decision will be made at the next meeting of the regional operational headquarters on January 16, “depending on the operational situation.”
