In Barnaul, on September 5, a holiday of children’s yard football will open

On September 5-8, the All-Russian Festival of Children’s Yard Football 6×6 will be held in Barnaul for the first time. Matches will be held at two venues: in the A. Smertin Sports Park and in the arena of SC Temp.
The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Altai regional branch of the All-Russian Federation of School Sports and the Ministry of Sports of the Altai Territory.
“For us, a very important and responsible task is to adequately host the All-Russian Festival of Children’s Yard Football 6×6. We will do everything to make it pass at a high level, and each participant of the event will be impressed. I thank everyone involved in organizing the festival,” said Anna Serova, chairman of the Altai regional branch of the All-Russian School Sports Federation.
More than 36,000 teams took part in the municipal stages throughout Russia. The final stage will bring together athletes from more than 30 regions of the country. It will be attended by 450 children aged 13-14 years.
In the Altai Territory, the regional final took place on August 18. According to the results of the matches, the victory among the boys was won by the players of the Fakel team from Zarinsk, and in the girls’ competition, the representatives of Biysk – Yunost became the best.
The grand opening of the All-Russian festival of children’s yard football 6×6 will take place on September 5 at 12:00 at the site of the Alexei Smertin Sports Park. Three-time Olympic champion, ten-time world champion, coordinator of the federal party project “Children’s Sport” Irina Rodnina will take part in it. The event is also planned to be visited by the Governor of the Altai Territory Viktor Tomenko.
Roman Trukhanovich, a professional football referee, leading instructor of the School of Football Referees of the Altai Regional Football Federation, has been appointed the chief referee of the competition.
The festival is held within the framework of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”. It is aimed at the mass involvement of children and adolescents in systematic physical education and sports during the summer holidays, health promotion and the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation.
