A Russian sniper, a group commander with the call sign “Pokemon”, saved his colleagues by shielding them from a Polish mine, and survived despite being seriously wounded. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Mash in Donbass”.
The report says that the serviceman volunteered back in 2016. He took part in battles in Volnovakha, Mariupol, Popasnaya, Lisichansk. And he was wounded in Avdeevka when he was leading out an assault group from there. At that moment, a Polish mine flew at the Russian military.
“Pokemon” was wounded in the head, back, legs, spine and underwent six surgeries. He had to use a wheelchair, but now he is already swinging on the parallel bars and believes that he will start walking with a cane and will help his colleagues as a volunteer.
