According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, over the past month more than 20 children have been injured in Russian reservoirs. As a result of the incidents, two children were rescued and three died. During this period, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted more than 6,000 patrols.
Alexander Kurenkov, head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, called on parents to familiarize their children with the dangers of thin ice and warn them about it.
