Improvement of school yards and sports grounds can be included in the overhaul program

“United Russia” and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation will work out the possibility of this addition

The interim results of the implementation of the federal program for the overhaul of schools were summed up by members of the United Russia party and representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, September 7. At the All-Russian meeting, the works themselves, the participation of parents and children in monitoring them, as well as new initiatives related to the project were discussed.

Party Secretary General Andriy Turchak in his speech stressed that violation of the deadlines for the delivery of facilities by contractors in this project is unacceptable. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about this earlier at a meeting with the government.

“We agreed with Sergei Sergeevich (Kravtsov – Minister of Education. – Note. ed.), with parent headquarters, that we will deal with each school, each building in detail. We must say goodbye to such contractors and enter them into the appropriate register,” Turchak said, while saying that the party will submit the register to the FAS.

Igor Bryntsalov, secretary of the United Russia regional branch near Moscow, proposed including landscaping in the overhaul program. According to him, this practice already exists in the Moscow region.

“Out of 328 schools (included in the program. – Note. ed.) we have 101 – rural. After the improvement of the territories, the construction of stadiums, schools become iconic objects. This year we have implemented almost 10 billion rubles for these purposes, next year in the three-year budget the money is included with the improvement,” he said.

This issue will be worked out by members of the United Russia party and the Ministry of Education. According to the speakers, a unified approach is needed, which will help eliminate delays in the overhaul.

Recall that for the implementation of the school overhaul program in 2022, funding in the amount of 418 billion rubles is provided from the budgets of all levels. Thanks to this, on September 1, more than 1,000 renovated buildings opened their doors. The project for the overhaul of schools was included in the people’s program of the party.

United Russia, together with the Ministry of Education, has formed a register that includes 7,300 school buildings. For the period of repairs, the party assigned responsible deputies of various levels to all schools. We have agreed that no act of acceptance will be adopted without the signature of the parent committee. The Ministry of Education supported us,” Turchak said.

Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov highly appreciated the initiative for the participation of parents, school administrators and students in the overhaul program. In his opinion, this experience will help to further establish interaction and dialogue with all interested parties.

“We can say with confidence that everything is done in our country to help and develop the talents of each student. School quantoriums, places for children’s initiatives are being created, a single children’s organization is being revived, which will allow children to implement their projects. I am now appealing to all regions and colleagues – to fill schools methodically in the future, somewhere to give the guys the opportunity to somehow improve the atmosphere themselves, ”added Kravtsov.

Recall that President Vladimir Putin instructed to create a program for the overhaul of schools for the next five years at the congress of United Russia. All stages of work – from design to acceptance – are controlled by public headquarters, which United Russia and the Ministry of Education have formed in the regions.
