Cypriot Aris striker Alexander Kokorin and Spartak forward Alexander Sobolev exchanged scathing comments on social networks, reminding each other of the scandalous fights.
Kokorin posted a photo from the gym, which showed the press. To this, Sobolev remarked that “the lower one needs to be worked on.”
“In order not to hit people from the back, that’s enough for me”– Kokorin retorted, recalling to the opponent the mass brawl that the players of Zenit and Spartak staged in the final of the Russian Cup match.
After the end of regular time, Sobolev attacked the St. Petersburg midfielder Barrios from the back and punched him several times. The act did not go unpunished – both players received red cards.
“I’m not a chair”Sobolev answered.
Kokorin said to this that his brother Kirill was also without a chair and added that he was waiting for a preventive measure for Sobolev.
In 2018, brothers Alexander and Kirill Kokorin, together with football player Pavel Mamaev, staged two fights in the center of Moscow. As a result, the athletes spent almost a year in the colony.
Earlier, “MK in St. Petersburg” wrote that led to a mass brawl between “Zenith” and “Spartak” according to the head coach of St. Petersburg Sergei Semak.
