On November 14, the NTV channel will air the premiere of the action-packed detective story Spetsbat. The series will tell about the working days of employees of a special unit of the road patrol service: the main characters are waiting for the search for hijackers and exciting chases, the fight against street racers and lawless people on the roads. The main roles in the film were played by Igor Stam, Vera Shpak and Alexander Tyutin.
In the center of the story is Major Sergei Chertanov, who has to carry out a dangerous and extremely responsible task: a criminal group operates in the city, which is engaged in the theft and legalization of stolen cars. The criminals behave impudently, and even the Investigative Committee is involved in the fight against them. Through their channels, they find out that the traces of the hijackers lead to a special DPS battalion. However, investigators cannot work openly – absolutely everything is under suspicion, and any leak is fraught with the disruption of operational and investigative plans. The Investigative Committee is preparing a covert operation.
“My hero is always on guard for good, which is very important. We tried to make a story about people in uniform who are far from indifferent to everything. People who really do everything in their power to help others. Therefore, for me, first of all, this is a story about honor, valor, dignity, male strength, and ultimately all this for the sake of good, ”says Igor Stam, who plays the role of Major Sergei Chertanov.
Crime, chases, searches and detentions are far from all that the employees of the 102nd special battalion of the traffic police live. Everyone has troubles in their personal lives and is full of skeletons in the closet, everyone is involved in office intrigues and is ready to circumvent laws and regulations on the way to their goals.
Filming of the series took place in Moscow and Yaroslavl.
