The players of the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” returned from vacation on February 12 and began preparing for the start of the spring part of the 2023-2024 season in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A”. The team from Ivanovo began training, starting to work on the mistakes made during the first part of the season. The red-blacks took 5th place in the final standings and failed to qualify for the Golden Division, scoring 1 point less than Chelyabinsk, which received a promotion.
Over the course of several weeks of the training camp, Igor Kolyvanov’s team played 6 test matches and showed different results in them. Meetings against Vista, Druzhba and the reserve team of FC Rostov ended in convincing victories, but the confrontations with Murom and Sokol from Saratov were not so successful. Tekstilshchik lost twice and reduced another match to a draw, keeping a clean sheet in a meeting with a representative of the First League.

“During the first training camp, we managed to play six matches. Yes, their results were not always positive, but we must understand that the guys had a rest for two months before this, and were also under stress, having done a lot of aerobic work. There were also positive ones in these games , and negative aspects,” said Igor Kolyvanov.
