Ice Palace “VologdaArena” received permission to put into operation

All construction work has been fully completed in the new ice palace on Poet Romanov Street in Vologda. This good news was shared by the head of the region Oleg Kuvshinnikov in the social network.
Permission for commissioning has already been received for the facility, so it will soon begin to receive the first athletes. At the moment, specialists are testing all the equipment, as well as acquiring the rest of the necessary equipment. In addition, the formation of a working team is underway.
It is worth noting that the ice arena was built in accordance with all KHL standards, which means that the most serious competitions can be hosted in Vologda. At the same time, the Golden Puck Sports and Sports Complex is being built very close to this palace, where figure skaters and hockey players will also start training on a small platform.
We add that funds for large-scale work were allocated under the federal project “Sport is the norm of life”, and the name of the object “VologdaArena” was chosen by the residents of the regional center themselves by online voting in social networks. It is planned that the palace will start functioning in the first quarter of 2023.
