“I want a pension!”: Singer Anastasia spoke about the lawsuit

But the star believes that she has no chance

In August, the singer Anastasia turned 57 years old. According to the law, it is from this age that the artist has the right to receive a monthly pension. However, the performer of the hits “I am the Queen of Golden Sand” and “Mom’s Cross” was officially denied the grant. Anastasia filed a lawsuit and intends to defend her right to a pension.

The artist says: this story began in early summer. The star applied for the appointment of benefits to the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation No. 10 for Moscow and the Moscow Region. However, the answer soon came: she was not entitled to a pension. Anastasia is still in shock from what happened.

– It turned out that, according to the law, pensions are paid to people who have at least thirteen years of experience! – said the MK star. – They counted 10 years, 9 months and 13 days for me.

According to Anastasia, she has much more experience. But a few years ago, during a fire in the house, her work book burned down. It was not possible to restore: the archives in the theaters where the star worked were not preserved.

“Because of this, I was denied a pension in general,” the artist sighs. “I sued the Pension Fund. I don’t like this whole story! How so? Me, Anastasia, was simply deprived of my pension! How is that, I did not understand! I am in such shock – beyond words! In absolute shock. I think it’s just some bullshit. Anastasia, who worked in show business for thirty years, was left without a pension!

– You see, I traveled all over our country several times up and down: I performed in all cities, from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad! – explains the singer. – But my documents confirming that I worked were burned! And the concert halls with which we signed contracts do not store documents! As a result, it turns out that all these years I simply did not sing!

According to Anastasia, she did not suffer alone. It turns out that many of her colleagues were also left without benefits.

“I know many colleagues who, like me, were left without a pension,” says the artist. – I don’t want to name them: if they want, they will tell. But I won’t just leave it like that! I will fight! I will fight very hard! Although I don’t think I have a chance. But I don’t want to leave it just like that! I gave many concerts in hot spots, military hospitals! Don’t I deserve help?
