I have always been attracted to the military theme.

During the May holidays, the family adventure film “Treasures of the Partisan Forest” will be released in cinemas – the last production work of the legendary Vadim Abdrashitov.

The film was shot on the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War directed by Yuri Ilyin. Starring Vasilisa Nemtsova, Elena Zakharova, Ruslan Yagudin, Andrey Mezhulis, Vladimir Ilyin. The film was the last production work of Vadim Abdrashitovv. The premiere took place as part of the opening of the May Festival of Correct Cinema. On the eve of the premiere, our correspondent met with the performer of one of the main roles in the film – theater and film actress Elena Zakharova.

– Elena, tell us about the film Treasures of the Partisan Forest. What attracted you to the plot?

– I have always been attracted by the military theme, I am interested in topics about the Great Patriotic War. For actors, this is an opportunity to open up. This topic has never left indifferent since childhood. The most important thing in this film was to show that not only adults were heroes during the war, but also children were fearless and helped in the fight against the Nazis. Indeed, during the Great Patriotic War there were a lot of child heroes. The characters in the film had a choice, and they made the right one.

– Were there veterans in your family?

– Yes, my grandfather Zakharov Mikhail Makarovich went through the whole war, was a colonel, a pilot. Unfortunately, he spoke very little about the war.

– When did you decide to become an actress?

– I dreamed of being an actress when I was dancing as a child. I liked watching movies, often everyone in the house was already asleep, and I was watching a movie. I liked being on stage. I once caught myself thinking that I want to live on stage.

I have seen your work both in the theater and in the cinema. What is closer to you?

– I like both theater and cinema, one complements the other. Theater is here and now. Cinema is also interesting. A lot depends on the director, the editing, and the audience. In the cinema, you can still see yourself later from the outside.

– Your image is always a little mysterious and very feminine. What is the secret of your youth, the incredible glow of your soul, which is always guessed, no matter what role you take on. Is it faith, love or something else?

I don’t know what the secret of youth is. It is important to develop yourself, not to sit in one place for a long time, to create. Even when it’s the weekend, I cook something, I’m always passionate about something. It is also important to have a good attitude towards people, towards the world. It seems to me that all this is reflected in the human soul. When I have time, I go in for sports and, plus, I do what I love – this is also a lot.

– In what projects can we see you in the near future?

– If we talk about projects, I’m really looking forward to the premiere of the film “Treasures of the Partisan Forest.” I really appreciate the role I played in it. This is the last production work of the legendary Vadim Abdrashitov, an incredibly talented person. I saw him at the Kinotavr festival the year before last, it was two years ago, when we had already shot the film and watched this material. He then told me very good words about my acting in the film Treasures of the Partisan Forest.

And if we talk about the theater, this is the premiere of the play “Hour of Silence” directed by Dmitry Astrakhan and Ilya Makarov based on the comedy of the same name by Florian Zeller. The premiere took place on the stage of the Moscow theater “School of the modern play”.
