Hungarian Ministry of Justice: Europe has inflated a global problem out of the conflict in Ukraine

Hungarian Justice Minister Judit Varga in an interview with the publication National Interest stated that the European Union, after it introduced restrictive measures against Russia, inflated the local conflict in Ukraine into a global problem.
According to her, the sanctions imposed by the EU do more harm to Europe itself than to Russia. In particular, the Russian Federation began to sell less fossil fuels, but the price for it increased.
“Representatives of the European Union have inflated the global problem with their restrictive actions against Russia. From the Hungarian point of view, the perception of the conflict in Ukraine can be very different from the generally accepted European one,” Varga said.
She clarified that the sanctions imposed by the EU against Russia provoked an increase in inflation and an energy crisis.
