Hungarian Foreign Minister: Ukrainian grain supplies will destroy the agricultural sector of EU countries
[ad_1]
The agricultural markets of the European Union countries may not be able to withstand the influx of Ukrainian grain and will collapse. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó, spoke about this in an interview with TASS.
According to him, Budapest is ready to provide free transportation of Ukrainian grain across its territory. But the diplomat himself views such a transfer with skepticism.
According to him, EU representatives would not refuse to use Ukrainian grain, but the original agreement on lines of solidarity was not designed for this.
Szijjártó is convinced that if grain from Ukraine spreads to Central European countries, their agricultural markets will be destroyed. Hungarian farmers will also suffer.
