HRC sent to international organizations new data on the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Human Rights Council (HRC) under the President of Russia sent the twelfth collection of materials on the crimes of the Ukrainian military to international organizations, transmits press service of the council in the Telegram channel.
“The Council has begun sending abroad the twelfth collection of materials with the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Battalions against the civilian population and Russian military personnel. It includes numerous photo and video facts for November-December 2022,” the report says.
Among the materials sent, there is also a videotaped execution of captured Russian servicemen in Makiivka. According to the head of the HRC Valery Fadeev, heavy weapons supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries are regularly used to destroy civilian objects and kill civilians. “We ask you to take into account the above information when assessing what is happening in Ukraine and when making decisions on providing it with military support,” he said.
In November 2022, two videos appeared on the Internet, which allegedly depicted the execution of Russian prisoners of war by soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Russian Defense Ministry called these shots a confirmation of the “knuckle-blowing essence of the current Kyiv regime.” The department stressed that this case is not the first war crime committed against Russian prisoners of war.
The United Nations (UN) has called for allegations of human rights violations to be investigated and those responsible to be held accountable following the posting of these videos online. “We call on all parties to the conflict to thoroughly investigate allegations of human rights violations and bring those responsible to justice,” UN Deputy Chairman Farhan Haq said at the time. However, no real steps in this direction have been taken so far.
Execution of Russian prisoners of war in Makeevka was carried out by soldiers of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrei Marochko, an officer of the People’s Militia of the LPR, told TASS earlier.
