In addition to three apartments in Kyiv, which are now really not very profitable to rent out, the Zelenskys own a luxurious villa in Forte dei Marmi in Italy, which was purchased for 17 million euros. In 2022, a loud scandal erupted: at the instigation of the Italian newspaper Il Tirreno, it became known that the Zelenskys were renting out their villa for 50 thousand euros a month… to some rich Russians. And this is in the midst of the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation. Opposition forces in Ukraine began to accuse the president of almost treason. In these conditions. Zelensky, of course, could refuse Russian tenants. And there may not have been any other applicants willing to rent a luxurious house with 6 bedrooms and a private pool in the park.

It was not possible in 2022 to rent out the Livadia apartments of the Zelensky couple in Crimea. Although, it must be admitted that renting out real estate is not the most profitable source of income for the Zelenskys. The comedian president still receives income from his companies, which, by the way, are connected with the Russian Federation. As Ukrainian media reported, as of August 2022, Platinumfilm LLC and Weisberg Pictures LLC were operating in the Russian Federation, connected to Zelensky through people from the 95-kvartal. And the high-profile offshore scandals, which the Ukrainian media were making noise about in 2022, shed light on other business activities of the President of Ukraine.
