House built in 1950 on Oleko Dundich Street was renovated according to an individual project

In the Filevsky Park area on Oleko Dundicha Street, a comprehensive overhaul of house No. 19/15 has been completed. The building was erected in 1950 according to an individual project in the style of classicism.
According to the press service of the Capital Repair Fund of the City of Moscow (FKR), high-quality domestic materials and advanced technologies were used to restore the residential building.
“The architecture of the capital’s housing stock is very rich. So, d. 19/15 on Oleko Dundich Street is a real highlight. We have made great efforts to update it. As you know, high-quality design is the key to an excellent overhaul. The experts have done a great job. We created a unique project that took into account all the nuances of the building. We selected high-quality domestic materials, modern technologies. Naturally, special attention was paid to working out the issue of putting the architectural decor in order,” said Vladimir Kozhichenkov, Deputy General Director of the Moscow FCR.
Before proceeding with the renovation of the facade and architectural decoration of the residential building, the experts cleared and washed the planes of the walls from contamination. Then the surfaces were treated with an antifungal compound. Semi-arched architraves, balcony brackets and sandriks were repaired, and then plastered and painted.
The balcony screens were replaced in the house, the pits were repaired, the basement was re-plastered. Upon completion of the main complex of works, the ebbs and drains were replaced.
The first floor on the main and end facades of house No. 19/15 on Oleko Dundicha Street is highlighted by arched architraves and sandriks around window and door openings. On the main facades there are balconies with brackets and stone flower beds. The facades are divided into two parts by an interstorey longitudinal cornice and end with a crowning cornice with denticles.
