The air at the main metropolitan meteorological station (VDNH) warmed up to 30.5 degrees by 12 o’clock, the Moscow weather bureau reports.
Thus, weather forecasters record the hottest day of this summer, as the air temperature at VDNH exceeded 30 degrees for the first time in a season.
In the city center (on Balchug Street) at 12 noon, 31.1 degrees were recorded, a representative of the weather bureau specified. From 12:00 to 18:00 in Moscow, up to 33 degrees are expected.
The temperature record of the day was set in the Russian capital on August 6, 2010 – 37.3 degrees.
