Horoscope of debtors: how not to give birth to a poor man

It turns out that in order to be extremely unlucky in any financial matters, it is enough to be born under the sign of the Zodiac, to which money does not go. And if you aggravate this with a repulsive wealth name, then a debt hole, or even bankruptcy, is provided, even if a person has good capital and financial literacy at the start. Moreover, the connection between the date of birth and the name with material wealth was discovered by no means by psychics, but by financial experts.

According to experts, in the current difficult economic conditions, Russians are increasingly falling into financial traps. This is especially true of loans made for emergency needs both in “good” banks and from individuals. Moreover, the lender does not necessarily turn out to be insidious, simply borrowing money in a hopeless situation, not everyone understands exactly how they will give it back. Studying the unhappy results of the past year, experts from the Borrower Protection Center suddenly noticed that people born in certain months suffer financial collapse more often than others. And also in the lists of debtors and bankrupts, a number of male and female names are found much more often than others.

– In 2022, 1.5 thousand bankrupts turned to us, – says the head of the center Yevgeny Makhinya, – for help totaling 1.5 billion rubles, which is 400 million more than in the same period of the previous year. The average amount of debt of applicants also increased, amounting to 950 thousand rubles. Such growth amazed us, and then there are strange coincidences of names and dates …

The financiers commissioned analysts and psychologists with a popular specialization in “financial” (they are engaged in the treatment of financial behavior disorders) to study in order to check whether there is a certain system in falling into a debt hole, somehow connected with names and dates of birth? Based on the results of studying the history of applications and appeals to the center, a horoscope of debtors was born, indicating which signs of the zodiac most often use debt cancellation services, and onimop (from the Greek “onyms” – proper names), leading names to which money does not go. The center says it commissioned the study mainly for internal use, but has encountered a lot of interest from families expecting offspring.

“Well, the desire of people to give birth to their child under a sign that attracts money, and to give him a name that will not prevent him from becoming a rich person, is quite understandable,” Yevgeny Makhinya sums up. – Therefore, we published the results, reminding, however, that this is not a verdict, but just an analysis. And no matter what your name is, and no matter when you are born, the main thing in money matters is financial literacy and intelligence.

“Financial behavior disorders are just as dangerous as, say, eating or sexual behavior disorders,” financial psychologists are sure. – The criterion of deviations – when a person begins to be uncontrollable and powerless against his weakness. Borrows more and more money and cannot stop, even if he understands that he will never be able to give such amounts. Like any addiction, financial addiction requires long-term versatile therapy. And in difficult economic conditions, this can happen to anyone.

Nevertheless, the study revealed high-risk names: Tatyana, Elena, Natalia, Sergeya and Olga turn to the center for help with getting rid of debts and loans much more often than others (in a sample of 3,000 people, applicants with such names applied to the center, respectively, 150, 147, 144, 141 and 138 times). They are followed by Alexander, Ruslan, Irina, Andrey and Vladimir (108, 105, 90, 78 and 63 hits) with a significant margin. At the same time, a gender surprise came to light: in the “top” of the Russian debt hole, there are 20% more of the fair sex than the strong (669 women against 498 men).

– We also observe that now in Russian families, women are more often the initiators of obtaining loans, – financial psychologists confirm. – The role of the head of the family in terms of financial expenses is clearly passing into women’s hands.

As for the months of birth of those who most often need help related to the bankruptcy procedure, the most “emergency” in this sense is Cancer (June 22-July 22), of which almost 25% of all appeals registered in the center. “Silver” among irreparable debtors was taken by Scorpions (23.10 – 21.11), having submitted 18% of applications. Aries closes the top three (March 21 – April 20) with 10% of requests for help.

Libra is the least likely to seek help in writing off debts (09/24-22/10). And the Taurus (April 21-May 21) get rid of them most cleverly, albeit with the assistance of borrower protection experts.

The most significant “average check” of debt for those born under the sign of Aries: last year 5 million rubles, which is almost 500 thousand rubles more than that of Capricorns (December 22-20, 01), who took the second step of the debt podium in terms of debt. Aquarius closes the top three (January 21-February 19), which on average borrow 1.2 million rubles from financial institutions. Virgos (August 22 – September 23) turned out to be the most cautious and took the last line of the list of persons with outstanding debt obligations and with an average check of 170 thousand rubles.
