Expert Klintsevich: “We also achieved this effect”

British intelligence seems to be on the heels of British scientists. They recently announced that the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is hindered by … bushes and weeds. They say that the vegetation on the uncultivated fields helps to mask Russian mines and hinders the advancement of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to a military expert, head of the Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts Andrei Klintsevich, when installing minefields, our military, among other things, took into account the natural factor.

British intelligence issued a statement, which in Russia the media and social networks immediately smashed into quotes. They said that the summer counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine doomed the weeds, shrubs and small trees that grew in the conditions of a humid summer to failure. According to foreign experts, this helps the Russian troops better hide their positions, while the Ukrainians, on the contrary, create difficulties. Not only do they not see our units in green, but they also cannot clear minefields and move forward.

According to Andrei Klintsevich, grass and bushes cannot create conditions for turning the situation at the front, this is always done by a set of measures.

– Before that, they said that our minefields were preventing the APU from advancing, they also complained about our Lancets, complained about our army aviation with anti-tank missiles. But in fact, a set of measures on our part are holding back the offensive.

The military expert cited as an example the recent fantastic tank battle, which was carried out by the crew of the tank, which was popularly nicknamed “Alyosha”.

– It is important that not only one tank fought there. Our artillery struck at the enemy, he was treated with anti-tank weapons. If this were not the case, then it would be very difficult for the tank. It is still unknown how that battle would have ended, because two other Ukrainian tanks could simply unwind it. And since concentrated strikes of other forces and means were inflicted on them, they simply did not pay attention to him, tried to maneuver, and at that moment he destroyed them. This indicates a professional concentration of multidirectional efforts on the battlefield.

Therefore, now, explaining the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they talk about bushes, and before that – about “climatic weapons”, something else … Well, yes, vegetation has grown over minefields. Indeed, the enemy has to look for mines under it. This, among other things, was our calculation – maximum camouflage, deepening of our mines and everything else.

The military expert recalled that the enemy units that clear mine fields are damaged not only by grass, but also by our forces and means, with which we remotely destroy engineering equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
