HC Sibir has a new defender – Ziyat Paigin. The contract has been signed until the end of the current season. In the Siberian team, Paigin will be assigned number 75.
The 28-year-old player played 386 games in the KHL, playing for Ak Bars, Sochi, Lokomotiv, Neftekhimik and Torpedo over the years. In total, Paigin has 103 points. This season he managed to play 20 matches as part of the Omsk Avangard and scored 1 point.
In 2015, Paigin became a silver medalist at the World Youth Championship as part of the Russian national team. A year later he made his debut in the adult team at the Eurotour.
This season, the hockey player hit the Sibir goal, which then determined the result of the game with Avangard.
