Hockey season in NAO opened with Vladislav Tretyak

On Tuesday, September 5, the grand opening of the hockey season took place on the ice arena of the sports school of the Olympic reserve “Trud”. The guest of honor of the event was the three-time Olympic champion, ten-time world champion in hockey Vladislav Tretyak, the portal of state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug reports.
The multiple world champion congratulated all the fans on the opening of the sports season and presented the governor with a goalie jersey, in which he played for the USSR national team for 15 years.

Also in the solemn part of the opening, the best striker of the last season, Eduard Burminsky, was noted.
The game began after the symbolic first face-off, which was attended by the head of the region Yuri Bezdudny, the president of the Russian Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretiak, as well as the captains of Trud and Polar Wolves.
As a result of three periods, Trud beat the Polar Wolves. The first game of this hockey season ended with a score of 7:3.
