In the group “MHK” SKA-Karelia ” appeared long-awaited news of victory. Karelian hockey players on December 22 met in Moscow with serious opponents – the local youth team “Red Army”. The team is part of the “golden” division of the MHL, our guys have never defeated such opponents.
“On the birthday of Russian hockey and the SKA hockey club, we are making a present for ourselves and the fans by beating the Red Army in overtime with a score of 5:4!” – write Kondopoga athletes.
Vladimir Kovalchuk opened the scoring already in the 4th minute. After a series of failures, the guys cheered up and played well: they showed good passes and well-coordinated teamwork. Ivan Kutuzov was even able to score his first goal in the MHL.
And the next games will be held in Kondopoga: on December 27, a match with Dynamo Moscow is scheduled, and on December 29, another meeting with the Red Army.
