According to him, for 15 years he has been practicing in this way in order to independently work out certain moments that he will need during the game. In addition, he noted, preparing for NHL games is different from, say, youth team games. And if in the second case you need to be constantly present at the general training camp, then in the first case you just need to show a good result.
Ovechkin also added that he is still motivated to win another Stanley Cup, but for such an outcome, a number of circumstances and factors must converge, which includes, of course, luck.
