Sports agent Gleb Chistyakov said that forward and captain of the Washington Capitals club Alexander Ovechkin flew to the United States.
“Alexander Ovechkin left Russia today,” the agent told Sport-Express.
He added that the Russian hockey player is preparing for the new NHL season. The team’s training camp starts on September 22.
Earlier it was reported that in 2021 Ovechkin signed a new agreement with the American club for $47.5 million.
