Hockey club CSKA denied information about the conclusion of a contract with goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov, who is serving in the Russian army. The organization clarified that they are not negotiating the return of the athlete.
“Due to the appearance of a large number of unreliable, unverified and false information reports, CSKA once again would like to bring to the attention of the fans the information that the hockey club has not and is not negotiating a contract with goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov,” – explained in the press service of the hockey club CSKA.
In addition, the organization is not negotiating the exchange of rights to Fedotov with other KHL clubs.
Recall that the former CSKA player was detained in St. Petersburg on June 1 on suspicion of evading military service. In the spring, the goalkeeper signed a contract with the American Philadelphia team. Later, Ivan Fedotov went to the hospital with an exacerbation of gastritis, and a few days later the hockey player was brought to Severodvinsk.
Earlier, “MK in St. Petersburg” wrote that the athlete filed a complaint against the commission’s decision to involve him in military service in the ranks of the Russian army.
