High school students will be taught to provide first aid, disassemble and assemble a Kalashnikov assault rifle

The Federal Basic General Education Program of Secondary General Education includes two new training modules on “Fundamentals of Life Safety”.
This subject is mandatory at all stages of education, and especially in high school. So far, these two new modules are intended for students in grades 10 and 11. And they suggest such “directions” of training as “providing first aid, handling a Kalashnikov assault rifle, the correct use of personal protective equipment”, the creation of “structures for the protection of personnel and shelters for military equipment.”
New modules may be included in the mandatory training program as early as the next academic year, since they are not only included in the standards, but also published on the portal of draft regulations for public discussion and independent anti-corruption expertise.
