The director of the large energy company Orgenergostroy, Elgudzha Kokosadze, was detained in Moscow. He is accused of giving a bribe to an official.
As MK learned, the Basmanny Court of the capital received a petition to arrest Kokosadze on charges of a crime under Article 291, Part 1, of the Criminal Code. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation insists on the arrest.
Along with Kokosadze, a high-ranking official in the nuclear industry was detained on suspicion of taking a bribe. He is accused of taking a bribe.
The essence of the charges has not yet been specified. It is known that in 2020 Rosatom entered into an agreement for the construction of a fast neutron research reactor in the city of Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region. To build the reactor, a consortium was formed, the leader of which was the Orgenergostroy company.
